Depends on the rest of the season. If we repeated how we were playing at the beginning at the start of the season and Sam could provide that sort of football long-term, then he could win a lot of people over.
The club is still in the process of building the squad, season by season, and because the squad is getting better we're passing by a lot of clubs like Villa, Newcastle and Everton. The priority for G&S will be to avoid relegation while we build, so whoever the manager is next season, it won't be a risky appointment.

I saw that too. I'm hoping it's the dreaded vote of confidence. I can't fathom what he's prattling on about - rose tinted spectacles is an understatement.. Maybe here we have the root cause which so many have alluded to. The dildo bros and their chamber maid do not have consensus. It just seems that Gold and she are hell bent on keeping him in a job. It's pathetic and worrying.
After Saturday and assuming the next two games are losses I'm wondering if even the most avid pro Sammites on this board (that are clearly in the minority by the way) may even start to alter their mindset. It's clear to me the players have lost the desire - something is seriously wrong within. We're debating a new contract but I think the real burning question now is whether he should go before the end of the season or not.
The other thing I am sick of is the media twats that keep espousing how we must all fall on our knees and give Thanks for the Fat One - how all these anti Sam WH fans are ungrateful. It's galling.

This as academic anyway as Gold has said today that apart from the WBA and Spurs games our results since Christmas have been good.
